Infants (6 Weeks – 12 Months): The Infant room allows flexible sleeping and eating schedules to meet the needs of each individual infant. Throughout the day the children are given opportunities to explore using all their senses in a safe and nurturing environment.
Transition (One-Year-Old): Our Transition room is always on the go. We provide a space where our one-year-olds can learn, explore, and grow all at their own pace!
Toddlers (2 to 3-Year-Olds): Our Toddler program helps each child develop his/her own confidence, social emotional skills, and learning goals through play and fun activities!
Preschool Class (3 to 4-Year-Olds): In our Preschool program, we encourage each child to learn and try new things. We provide teacher directed activities, critical thinking opportunities and purposeful play to all preschoolers every day.
Pre-Kindergarten Class (4 to 5-Year-Olds): We provide an educational program that encourages socialization, independence, and developmentally appropriate learning activities. Our individualized, hands-on creative curriculum fosters discovery, free choice, problem-solving, and prepares the children for a successful year in Kindergarten.
Kindergarten (5 to 6-Year-Olds): Our Kindergarten program is a dynamic, challenging, hands on program which stresses social/emotional learning and self-help skills, designed to give your child the tools necessary to thrive in grade school. We encourage the children to challenge themselves in areas such as math, science, and language arts. Recognizing that each child learns at his/her own pace and learning style, our curriculum enhances the state curriculum and provides personalized attention to meet the needs of each individual student. In addition, our low ratios allow the extra nurturing Kindergarten age children need to encourage self esteem and provide them with a positive foundation to their future learning adventures.
Our full time Kindergarten program is a year round nature based program and runs with the public schools; however, we are given the privilege of remaining in one location all day which enables us to include field trips, outdoor play, and other fun events during our school year!
School Age (6 to 12-Year-Olds): We have a full second floor built for our Before and After School Program. The before and after school program is designed to provide opportunities for participation in a variety of activities that enhance socialization, recreation, and the reinforcement of lessons taught in school. We provide busing to/from the Hudson and Litchfield schools, and all our buses are seat belted to provide additional safety. Additionally, we offer full day care for school aged children when school is not in session (I.E. snow days, teacher workshops, vacation, etc.)
Our before and after school program continues throughout the summer in the form of a summer camp offering special events, field trips, and many child interest driven activities!
